The Board of Directors provides strategic leadership, governance, and fiduciary oversight for the organization’s mission to grow city-wide park-based community health, equity, and justice through innovation and partnerships. Drawing on diverse expertise from community development, environmental stewardship, nonprofit governance, and civic engagement, our Board champions the vision and long-term sustainability of Parks & People’s programs and initiatives.

Board members work collaboratively with staff, partners, and stakeholders to ensure accountability, amplify impact, and steward resources that support transformative work in parks, public spaces, and underserved communities across Washington, D.C.
