Community Harvest

Urban Agriculture & Food Justice in Washington, DC

Growing food. Growing skills. Growing community.

Community Harvest reconnects residents with the land through sustainable farming, nutrition education, and community-led greenspace stewardship.

The Green Corps

Green Job Training for Washington, DC Residents

Build skills. Rebuild parks. Transform lives.

Green Corps is an 8-week workforce development program preparing DC residents—including returning citizens—for careers in the green economy.

Participants Learn:
• Landscaping & urban forestry
• Invasive species removal
• Trail building & park restoration
• Stormwater management
• Tool safety & workplace readiness
• Environmental justice principles

Heart & Soul brings free and low-cost wellness programs to neighborhoods across DC— strengthening physical health, mental well-being, and community connection.
