Welcome to Washington Parks & People!

Partners & Supporters

We are honored to acknowledge our major donors who currently support our work!

None of our government grants support our core operations, which are paid entirely through our earned revenue and some foundation support.

The Corps Network

Washington Parks & People is proud to be sponsored by and a member of The Corps Network, a national nonprofit organization that supports youth and young adults through conservation, service, and workforce development initiatives. This affiliation strengthens Washington Parks & People’s ability to advance equitable access to green spaces, environmental stewardship, and community-based programming throughout Washington, D.C. Through The Corps Network’s support, Washington Parks & People is better positioned to expand career pathways, build local leadership, and deliver impactful park-based solutions that promote environmental justice and community resilience.

Accountability

Our programming, staffing, and fiscal management systems are structured to ensure accountability. We believe that transparency to stakeholders is critical to providing a world-class model for our community-based work. We invite anyone with questions, concerns, ideas or recommendations to raise them to our management team by emailing [email protected].

Support from individual donors, corporations, foundations, volunteers, and public funders is critical to our work. We honor our relationships with our donors, and have thus implemented a Donor Privacy Policy and adhere to the Donor Bill of Rights.
